We are a family of four, located in Brisbane, Australia, and have extensive life experience with sensory processing disorder.

Our journey creating vibrating pendants began when our son was diagnosed with autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder at a young age. We immersed ourselves in books and resources to better support our family.

From the age of four, uncomfortable places such as shopping centres were too overwhelming and our son would start head banging as if he were at a heavy metal concert, not the check out line of a grocery store. This was freightening as he wasn't aware of people and objects around him, we worried he would hurt himself. We knew we needed to find an alternative for him to stim safely.

When our son was six, he developed quite loud and continuous vocal stimming during a lengthy process of moving house from North Qld to Brisbane and adjusting to a new school.

Realising that it was the feeling of the vocal stim that he was craving, not the noise, we came up with the idea of inputting the feeling through vibration, which lessened the need for him to produce it himself.

We noticed immediate improvement once he started using the device, and it's now an essential part of his daily routine. 

Our son has become more confident and comfortable in various settings, and we believe this device can help other families facing similar challenges.

Through our personal experiences, we have developed a deep understanding of the challenges that accompany these conditions. This understanding has driven us to create tools and products that aim to enhance the quality of life for individuals with sensory needs.
